I have been meaning to get here since it opened. I live in the area and finally got here. Everyone I know that has been here say the fish and chips are excellent and the all you can eat deal is the best. I can say that the hype is true and I was no disappointed. The fish is lightly battered and that allows the taste of the fish to come through. The chips are great also. The restaurant was clean and well lit. Our server was friendly and attentive. The washroom was clean although quite small but of course it does it’s job. We were a party of 9 but the food came fast and hot. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the food was great. We definitely will come back again. I definitely recommend coming here.
The fish and chips were quite good, and the price was unmatched! All you can eat, plus a pint, for about the same as a single serving most other places. And the special is all day, everyday. It's a few bucks less if you don't want a beer as well. It is up in the north east, tucked into a corner of the commercial strip north of 137 Ave, but I had no issue finding it. Worth the trek!
My husband and I finally went to C-Lovers today and we were not disappointed! The fish had a lovely thin crisp batter with no overload of fries and it was freshly made. The onion rings were the best I’ve had in a very long time! Although the tartar sauce was more of a creamy dill sauce, it was still good. Our server was polite and attentive. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere. Prices were reasonable, too. We spent 50 and walked away stuffed!
Went there for the AYCE. Very pleased, the Fish was very Nicely cooked, and the Service was Excellent. The only thing that was less than Good was that the Pop Machine didn't have my Choice available.
I have had fish chips from different location in Edmonton and all the stores that we visited where somewhat the same except C Lovers. Amazing, tasty food, all you can eat for 18.95. Endless soft drinks included. The staff where accommodating, friendly, sang Happy Birthday to my brother. We met some wonderful people for their first visit and all they could do is rave about the food. Our first visit did not disappoint. Excellent batter, home made fries, cut at the store. The atmosphere was simple, understated, but effective. They have handicap parking. Lots of parking stalls. About 50 seats for in dining. A refreshing taste that makes me want to go back time and time again. The food was.not greasy. Wow
Best fish and chips in town. My wife had cod Fantastic. I had all you can eat . Great deal and great food. Worth the drive across town.
We came here as we were craving fish and chips and saw that they had a really good deal for an all you can eat option. We were stuffed leaving and the quality was pretty good for all you can eat. The server was very friendly and the food came out very fast even though it was fairly busy at the time we went. There seemed to be a lot of regulars there which showed that they are a very good franchise. Would 10/10 recommend coming here if you are looking for a decent fish and chips spot in the city. Will definitely be returning here.
We went here today and the food was amazing! The deep fried mushrooms taste so good! The serving is plenty too! Our server Melanie went above and beyond with the service. My family's first time eating here and we will definitely go back!
